The Haunted House

One Halloween night two girls named Sarah and Allana went trick or treating. They walked all around the block. At the end of the block there was a big mansion. It’s known as the haunted house. Nobody goes into it anymore, well since the man named Mr.sheegen that lived in it had died. People say his ghost still lives in there. When the two girls came to the end of the block they saw the big mansion also known as the haunted house. Then a thunderstorm started. Sarah and Allana had no choice but to go inside. When the two girls got too the gate they stopped. They saw this unstable mansion, opening and closing windows, bats all around the mansion, the gate was black and shabby and most of the paint had come off, all the plants and hedges and bushes had all over grown and there was a big old brown door it had two big round handles on it. It really did look like a haunted house. Then Mr. Sheegan’s cat brushed against Allana’s foot she jumped the cat ran away. Sarah opened the gate. It screeched loudly the two girls ran through. Then it shut with a slam. The two girls looked back. They ran up too the door and knocked on it there was no answer then the door opened with a creek. Sarah and Allana looked inside the mansion. When they walked in the door shut with a slam. The two girls shrieked. They looked around the saw all this beautiful Victorian furniture, they saw on some of the furniture there were cobwebs, and they also saw the beautiful staircase with a couple of spider webs on that too. Then Sarah called out “hello is any body there” no one answered back. She called out again and still no answer. The girls didn’t know what too do. They decided too go up stairs .When they went up stairs they saw this tattered hallway and the light bulbs were flickering. It wasn’t as nice as the down stairs. The two girls went into one of the rooms. It was a bedroom. There was a beautiful bed except it was covered in cob webs , there was lovely wallpaper but most of it was torn down. It would have been a lovely room if it wasn’t all tattered. They looked around the bedroom they found a note it said “If you find this letter please help me” Allana said “well that’s a bit scary don’t you think” “yes it is” said Sarah. Then they heard “screech” it was the sound of a floor board. “Aaaaaaaa” screamed the two girls. “I-it’s a ghost” said Sarah. “ oh, it really is a haunted house” said Allana. “We’ve got too get out of this place” said Sarah. there were about to run when the door shut and they were trapped. the window’s were shutting louder. the two girls screamed. “Some one locked us in here” said Sarah. then before Allana could say anything the door flung open. The two girls ran into another room there they saw a dead girl on the ground. Sarah and Allana both screamed and ran they heard noises like clang, boom, bang and lots more. The two girls screamed all the way as they were running down the stairs they ran for the door. Sarah pulled at the door it wouldn’t open. Then Allana tried and she didn’t succeeded either. Then the two girls tried together it wouldn’t open it was jammed. The two girls didn’t know what to do. When the two girls calmed down they went back up stair’s to see what the noises were and to investigate the dead girl. They went up stairs. They went into the room where they heard the noises. There was loads of stuff on the ground and it looked like somebody dropped most of them . they didn’t know what too do. It looked like somebody was here lately because there was no cob webs on the things that were on the ground. It was pretty strange. They went into the room where the dead girl was. She didn’t look like she died last month but it looked like she died recently, like somebody murdered her. “That is so scary” said Sarah. “Yes I know” said Allana. “I wonder if there’s a murderer in the neighbourhood.” Said Sarah. “O I hope not” said Allana. The two girl’s quietly went down the stairs to see if the door would open the two girls tried but it didn’t open but then again there weren’t expecting it too. They opened the sitting room door. The light’s weren’t on so Sarah turned them on and then a man stood up. He looked crazy, the two girls screamed and they ran. They knew he was the one who killed the girl up stairs. They ran to the door, thank god it opened. the girls ran to the next house and asked could they ring the police. They rang the police and the man was arrested. The body was taken away and from then on the two girls took mobile’s and torches out each time they go trick or treating.
