My aunt has done an extensive search for the first Lawler of our family who arrived in the US and more importantly from what town/parrish he came from. Based on her research I believe that person was Patrick Lawler, who had a son named Darby of Danby who had a son named John who had a son named Levi Robin. I feel confident in the names after Levi, but I need confirmation of John, Darby and Patrick. And most importanly where did they come from. I do not have dates for Patrick or Darby but John was probably born about 1630 in North Carolina, USA. I would appreciate any information that would aid my search. I like many others have been told that I am descended from Peter Lalor. My Grandfather and father are now passed and I believe that I have traced my grandfather to be a son of Dr. Joseph Peter Lalor. My grandfathers name was George Lalor and my father was William Lewis Lalor, I also have a cousin named Peter Lalor, he is the last remaining boy who will carry on the name in my immediate family.
